This page covers what Fresh Media keeps when you use this site or get in touch, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to info@freshmedia.ie.

Browsing the site

If you accept cookies in the banner, we use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and how they found the site. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google the pages you view, your approximate location and the kind of device you use. Google does not store your IP address, and keeps this data for at most 14 months. We rely on your consent for this, and you can change your answer at any time from the Cookies link at the foot of every page. If you reject, or never answer, no analytics cookies are set and Google receives nothing from this site. The site sets no advertising cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, handles every request and keeps its own short-lived logs to run and protect the service.

When you send the project form

We keep the answers you give: your name, email address, anything you write, and the choices you tap. Alongside them we keep a few details about the visit, so we can tell a real enquiry from spam and see which of our pages people read first:

• the page you were on before the form, and the site or campaign that brought you, if it came from outside;
• your country, region and time zone, worked out from your connection, so we reply at a sensible hour;
• your browser, operating system and whether you used a phone, tablet or computer;
• how long the form took to fill in;
• a one-way code made from your IP address with a key we throw away after two days, so it cannot be turned back into the address.

Why we keep it

You asked us to get back to you about a project, so we use these details to reply and to decide whether we are a good fit. That is the legitimate interest we rely on. We do not sell or share them, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

How long

• Enquiries stay until we delete them, which we do once they are no longer useful.
• Anything marked as spam, or moved to the bin, is deleted after 30 days.
• The text of emails our system sends is cleared after 30 days.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare hosts the site, its database and its files. When you send the project form, Resend delivers your answers to us by email, so we see them straight away. Resend is based in the United States, and we send through its servers in Ireland. Google receives analytics data only if you accept cookies. Nobody else receives your details from this site.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete all of it. Email info@freshmedia.ie from the address you used and we will do it within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handled your details, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission.
